LEGO will be releasing another nostalgic set with the new “Back To The Future” model inspired by the DeLorean car from the 1985 film.

The LEGO “Back to the Future” Time Machine set acts as a three-in-one reproduction of the iconic vehicle and allows builders to create the car from the first, second or third movie.

The model will be made up of 1,872 pieces and will include detailed replicas from the movies like the iconic light-up flux capacitor, fold-down tired for flight mode, and more.

The DeLorean model will also contain several Easter eggs, including swappable license plates and Marty’s hoverboard.

“Universal, Amblin Entertainment, and the ‘Back To The Future’ filmmakers are delighted to have partnered with the LEGO team in the creation of this fantastic kit,” Bob Gale, co-writer of the “Back To The Future” trilogy, said in a press release.

“In the movie, Doc Brown spent almost 30 years and his entire family fortune to build his Time Machine. Fortunately, you’ll be able to build this LEGO model in significantly less time and with far less expense – although your completed version will be unable to travel through time!”

Universal also provided Sven Franic, a LEGO set designer, with photos of the films’ restored DMC DeLorean.

“Since its release in the 1985, ‘Back To The Future’ continues to be a cult film and a favorite for generations of fans all over the world – including myself. I had so much fun reliving my favorite moments from all three films on this exciting and nostalgic design adventure,” Franic said in a statement.

“The shared timelessness of LEGO bricks and the ‘Back To The Future’ is something we really wanted to capture for this set, so we hope fans will enjoy racing through time in LEGO style.”

Once completed, each “Back to the Future” LEGO model will stand at 4-inches tall and 15.5-inches wide.

Fans can begin purchasing the time machine set on April 1 in stores and online. The LEGO “Back to the Future” Time Machine model will retail for $169.99 and will be recommended for users ages 18 and older.
