Amazon has a big sale on Wednesday to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Dubbed Amazon Prime Day, the online shopping event is a one-day affair that brings Black Friday-like discounts to shoppers.

If you can’t do some online shopping during work hours, there are still plenty of discounts to be had throughout the day. To participate, you must be a member of Amazon Prime, a program which offers free two-day shipping, Amazon music streaming, Prime instant video for $99 a year. Alternatively, non-members can also sign up for a free trial at Amazon’s website.

If you’re itching to shop, here are some of the deals you can find once you’re off the clock:

Amazon also has several lightning deals -- which come with big discounts available in limited quantities and for a short period of time. Many of the discounts are on smartphones, chargers and other little gadgets. But it’s also offering some unique deals, such as a mystery digital camera package for $419, a 40 percent savings. That comes with a name-brand DSLR, along with carrying case and 16GB SD memory card.

If you’re in the market for a printer, the online retailer is selling a Brother all-in-one laser printer and scanner for $249.99, a 38 percent discount.

Additional deals for products such as third-party Apple Watch straps, camera lenses, computer monitors and other electronics are also available through Amazon Prime Day. But, shoppers won’t know how deeply they will be discounted until their lightning sale starts at the designated time.

Beyond Amazon Prime Day, Walmart is having a sale of its own, with thousands of deals on products online -- without the need to sign up for an additional membership.
