Shortly before Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) held a press conference and admitted to sending lewd photos to women online, Andrew Breitbart used the same podium where Weiner would soon speak to tell reporters that Weiner's admission vindicated his work.

Everything we've reported about this...has been true, Breitbart told reporters.

The bizarre occurence caught some journalists off guard, with anchors struggling to explain it to viewers of the televised press conference. Breitbart fielded questions about how he obtained photos sent by Weiner and why he decided to publish them. He defended his work and said that reporters unjustly vilified his work.
