About
Steven Williams is the CEO of PepsiCo Foods North America, and he leads the $18B snack and convenient food business – such as Frito-Lay North America (FLNA) and Quaker Foods North America (QFNA). Williams joined PepsiCo in 2001 when the company acquired Quaker Oats Company, which he joined in 1997 as the broker field manager who was in charge of the headquarters and field sales for Oklahoma and Arkansas.
Since then, he has held leadership positions in sales, general management and customer management, to name a few. He served as senior vice president and chief commercial officer for Frito-Lay’s USA organization and was appointed as the CEO in March 2019.
In his earlier tenure at PepsiCo, Williams handled its global Walmart business and its portfolio – including Walmart U.S., Sam's Club and Walmart International – and delivered significant sales and share growth. With his leadership skills and more than two decades of experience working at the company, Williams understands the value of relationships with customers. And, what keeps him excited is looking for ways to continue to grow the company and its people.
Ramon Laguarta, the chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, commended Williams' leadership and business experience. He said, "He has deep knowledge of deep knowledge of the industry and our business, and we will greatly benefit from his inspirational leadership, broad customer knowledge, intimacy with consumer trends and experience developing talent as we build on our already strong foundation.”
