Joran van der Sloot, the man accused of killing a Peruvian woman and main suspect in Natalee Holloway's 2005 disappearance, is believed to have impregnated his girlfriend while still behind bars, according to a reports.

The rumors emerged from several media outlets, including SBS Broadcasting, De Telegraaf, and Periodismo en Linea.

The Dutch suspect, 23, is currently awaiting the murder trial for Stephany Flores' death in June last year, and is locked up in Miguel Castro Castro Prison.

The unidentified girlfriend is believed to have frequented the prison to visit his cell, do chores, and engage in conjugal visits with van der Sloot. She is also believed to have brought him candy, which he uses to run a lucrative snack bar from his cell, according to Atlanta Journal Constitution.
