As NASA continues to gather data from Mars, some of its data including a photo from its rover has sparked theories from alien researchers across the globe. Some consider a possible sighting of an alien sarcophagus and shrimp.

Scott C Waring, a famous UFO researcher, claims that a NASA rover photo has revealed an ancient sarcophagus on the red planet. The picture is a NASA snapshot of the Bonneville crater on Mars that was captured in 2004 using the agency's Spirit Rover.

Waring added that there were three sarcophagus, but the two fell in another direction. Only one came into the view, allowing people to see its lid. The lid appears to have a figure of a person that is very easy to make out.

He went on to say that people can see the head, shoulders and body on top of the lid. According to him, the photo presents an opportunity to find a treasure trove of alien information. Apart from the alien sarcophagus, he also claimed that there are building ruins in one of the photos.

"I also found loads of other ancient artefacts in this NASA photo," Waring noted.

The UFO researcher describes the said artifacts include alien structures and pillars that came from "Earth's moment in history before the Great Pyramids were made."

One of those bizarre objects also includes a humanoid-like rock which looks somewhat like a figure of a man sitting. He added that the other objects evident from the photos “clearly were made by intelligent beings." The UFO expert explained that the alien artifacts could be proof that ancient Martians were like humans in behavior and appearance.

This is not the only life on Mars that Waring claims he saw. In another post, he also said that he found some life-form on the planet that looks like a shrimp.

According to him, it makes sense to see something like it since on Earth, "brine shrimp live in a dormant egg state in the dry desert sand." The rain brings back the shrimp to life. Waring noted that they can live in egg state under the desert sun for hundreds of years until rain ignites their life cycle.

UFO critics were quick to point out that the alien discoveries are nothing more than oddly shaped rocks and shadows.

NASA has been working on several space missions in hopes of finding alien life. The agency has yet to claim it indeed found extraterrestrial life.
