  • Teasers released by "Mobile Legends: Bang Bang" hints at a Manny Pacquiao skin
  • Pacquiao skin could be expensive
  • No clarity if Pacquiao is really the one being teased by the popular video game on social media

Esports game “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” continues to find ways to make the game interesting, and there is no better way than to integrate a known figure in Philippine sports.

Thanks to some teasers spread online, it appears the Filipino boxing icon will soon be involved in the video game.

The official Facebook “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” provided two clues on the possible participation of Manny Pacquiao last Nov. 4. There were two cryptic photos shared. One showed a newspaper with a hooded man on the right side and the post hinted that it had to do something with the letter M.

But the next clue released last Nov. 13 probably gave the biggest hint of all. A boxing glove, a punching bag, and a boxing ring were shown on video. At the start, the voice of Bruce Buffer was also heard announcing the name of a “certain” boxer from the Philippines.

Piecing it all together, it implies that “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” will be offering a Manny Pacquiao skin. Though the clues strongly point to it, it may be best to take these with a grain of salt for now.

While this should be welcome news to the folks who have been playing “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang,” it would not be surprising to see new individuals trying out the game.

For the benefit who may not know why the Pacquiao skin is a big deal, it is a costume that helps players stand out. There are a lot of variations available in the game, but there are costs associated with it.

Regular skins cost P250 ($5) each, while Elite skins cost between P400 ($8) to P600 ($12). There are also special skins available for P750 ($15), while Epic skins cost between P900 ($18) to P1,200 ($25). The costs to get one rises from there with prices reaching as much as P7,000 ($145).

For now, there is no word on how much the mystery skin pointing most is speculation to be that of Pacquiao. Also, it remains to be seen if this is something that would be available only for a limited time.
