Prince Harry’s body language reveals his excitement over becoming a dad soon.

Judi James, a body language expert, told The Sun that the Duke of Sussex is also showing signs of strain since he will become a first-time father in the spring of 2019.

“Now that the pregnancy is official, it looked like business as usual for the Duchess, who was now able to swap those rather shapeless coats and cover-ups of recent weeks for a beautiful, white, slim-fitting sleeveless dress that displayed just a hint of a baby bump. It was Harry showing some of the strain and excitement of being a dad-in-waiting by using an empathetic stomach-covering barrier pose, walking with one hand to his waist to mirror the gesture his wife has been using over the past few weeks,” she said.

During the first day of their official engagement in Australia, James also noted how the couple walked hand-in-hand. While Prince Harry was talking to their host, Markle was seen rubbing her husband’s arm in a kind of reassuring manner.

“She looked confident and happy, posing for the photos with a beaming smile and her hands loosely clasped in front of her torso. Harry caught his wife’s eye and performed what will probably be the first of many bashful and slightly embarrassed smiles as they were given their first baby gift of a toy kangaroo. He sucked his lips in and lowered his chin before flashing Meghan a knowing look, but by the time he was standing holding a second gift of a pair of baby Uggs, he was grinning like the Cheshire Cat, no longer able to hide his delight,” James said.

After receiving their first baby gift, the Duchess of Sussex excitedly exclaimed, “Our first baby gift!” Prince Harry reacted to the baby Uggs and said it was an awesome present.

Prince Harry and Markle are currently in Australia for their 16-day tour of the continent, as well as of New Zealand, Fiji, and the Kingdom of Tonga. The couple will also attend the Invictus Games in Sydney next week. Their tour will wrap up on Oct. 31.
