Radiohead launched a website giving fans the opportunity to remix the band's new single Nude by mixing stems or component parts of the song.

In collaboration with iTunes and GarageBand, the British band put 5 'stems' for bass, voice, guitar, string/fix and drums available for anyone. Fans can buy the tracks through iTunes, create songs themselves and then upload the material in www.radioheadremix.com.

You can mix them in any way you like, either by adding your own beats and instrumentation, or just remixing the original parts, the statement on the website says.

The public will vote for their favorite remix until May 1 and Radiohead will listen to the best remixes.

The stems are compatible with a variety of music mixing software programs, the band said.

For their latest album In Rainbows which was available as a digital download, Radiohead allowed their fans to pay for it what they consider worth it and sold 122,000 copies in the United States according to Nielsen SoundScan.
