Vice President Joe Biden likes to go skinny dipping to the chagrin of female members of his Secret Service detail, a book by Ronald Kessler alleges. Kessler says he talked with Secret Service agents for "The First Family Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal Hidden Lives of the Presidents," who allegedly told him no one wants to be on Biden's detail.

One agent quoted anonymously said Biden refuses to take proper security precautions at his home in Delaware, traveling with an abbreviated motorcade because he doesn't want to disturb his neighbors, the Washington Post reported.

"What’s going to happen is either you're going to have a dead vice president in Delaware or you're going to have agents killed in Delaware because Secret Service management refused to stand up to [Biden]," the agent said.

When it comes to skinny dipping, Biden allegedly indulges both at his home in Delaware and at the vice president's residence.

"Female Secret Service agents find the behavior offensive," Kessler writes.

A Biden spokesman declined to comment.
