Wall Street jumps at open after global bailout
U.S. stocks surged at the opening on Monday as a $1 trillion global emergency rescue package eased contagion concerns.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> soared 332.61 points, or 3.20 percent, at 10,713.04. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was up 36.31 points, or 3.27 percent, at 1,147.19. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> jumped 98.43 points, or 4.34 percent, at 2,364.07.
