Shares of Youku.com (NYSE: YOKU) are surging after the Chinese internet television company said it entered into a partnership agreement with Warner Bros. Studios to stream the movie Inception through its on-demand Youku Premium on-demand service.

As of 9:35 a.m.(EDT) American Depositary Shares of Youku are up 5.70 percent in New York trading.

The company said in addition to online on-demand broadcast rights to Inception, Youku also has online resale rights for the film.

Youku entered U.S. stock markets just last December when it conducted an initial public offering of about 16-million shares at $12.80 per share.
