The Duggar family of "19 Kids and Counting" added a new member on Monday. Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard welcomed their son, Israel David, at 11:49 p.m. EDT on April 6. His birth came just days after the anniversary of their engagement.

The new parents posted a photo of their baby on Instagram, and now the Duggar family's official Facebook page has shared more pictures of the new addition. They show Derick in hospital scrubs looking at his son, as well as Jill holding the baby. Fans also got a close a close-up of little Israel David.

Jill's sister Jessa Seewald went on Instagram to share her excitement about becoming an aunt again. The 22-year-old shared a post celebrating the birth of "baby Dilly."

Jessa's post gave viewers a glimpse of Israel yawning while sitting in his mother's arms. The photo shows the new parents smiling as they snuggle up to their new bundle of joy. In the photo, Israel is sporting a monogrammed onesie, while his proud papa wears an Israel Defense Forces T-shirt.

"Congrats to my sister @jillmdillard, and brother-in-law, @derickdillard, on the birth of their beautiful baby boy, Israel David Dillard! Born last night at 11: 49pm! 9lbs 10oz & 23in. long!" Jessa captioned the image.

Days before Jill gave birth, Derick took to his blog to share with fans that his wife was in the early stages of labor. He revealed that the 23-year-old was "beginning to have contractions which means that the birth of our son is near." As previously reported, Jill and Derick took classes on the Bradley Method, a husband-coached approach to labor. Jill revealed that it would allow Derick to help her during both pregnancy and labor, which was something she really wanted. She also shared that she hoped to have a home birth, though it has been reported the birth did not go as planned.

According to the Daily Mail, Israel was nearly two weeks late. Doctors decided to intervene, forcing Jill to give birth in a hospital where they could monitor her closely. There are few details known about the birth at this time, but sources say the whole thing was captured by TLC's cameras for a May 5 episode of "19 Kids."

"19 Kids and Counting" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT on TLC.
