Josh Duggar posted a public video message for the first time since his statement on his sex scandal on Sunday. This time, Josh didn't address the controversy. The “19 Kids and Counting” star shared a video with his wife, Anna, to say happy Father’s Day to his dad, Jim Bob.

The TLC reality star recalled his childhood with his father. “I can remember as a little boy riding in the tow truck with you and spending all of those hours together,” Josh, 27, recalled. “And then as I grew up a little bit, we were at the car lot together, and I can remember learning how to do business deals and fill out the paper work and all of those things.”

The couple expressed their gratitude to the Duggar family patriarch for all of his hard work. “I can also just think of all the moments where you’ve been there for us through the hard times and through the good times,” Josh added. “And I know that your investment in each one of our lives is priceless.”

“Thank you for raising such an awesome husband,” Anna, 26, said.

The eldest Duggar sibling has been quiet since reports surfaced that he molested underage girls as a teenager. He released a statement shortly after the news broke. “We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling,” he said. “I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

His sisters Jessa (Duggar) Seewald, 22, and Jill (Duggar) Dillard, 24, were revealed to be two of his victims, but the women defended their brother during an appearance on “The Kelly File” earlier this month. “I see it as a re-victimization that's a thousand times worse because this is something that was already dealt with," Jill said, according to People. "We've already forgiven Josh. We've already moved on."

The women made their first public appearance since the interview at ALIVE Christian Music Festival in Ohio on Saturday. Josh and Anna were scheduled to attend, but they opted out.

The fate of “19 Kids and Counting” has not been announced. The show is not currently airing on TLC, and many have speculated about a potential spinoff series.
