From someone who might otherwise be a rather unremarkable young woman, comes a wonderfully novel way of documenting the transition from youth to early adulthood.

Although the Internet knows her only as the Clickflashwhirr blog girl (there is no information on her name or age), she has become a YouTube sensation, after posting one photograph of herself, every day, for the past four-and-a-half-years. If that weren't insanely creative enough, she has also made a 41-second time-lapse video, using all her photographs from the four-and-a half years - from Sep. 29, 2006, to May 12, 2011; the video has been viewed more than 3 million times.

When viewed rapidly, almost like a picture book, they reveal the subject's journey from a student to a young and very elegant woman.

Although some of her clothes and accessories reappear from time to time, it is her hair that truly catches ones attention; it is the one aspect of her appearance that has been experimented on the most. The Clickflashwhirr girl (her YouTube username is Madandcrazychild) can be caught on her blog Clickflashwhirr.

My face has grown out of the front of my head since birth. There seems to be very little I can do about it, she wrote on her blog.
