Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson provided a bit too much information while explaining his awful first pitch at the Mets game on May 27.

50 Cent held a Reddit AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) on Tuesday to promote the release of his new album, “Animal Ambition.” During the online conversation, a fan asked Jackson to explain what happened during his infamous first pitch, which ended up closer to the first-base dugout than the catcher’s glove.

The 38-year-old rapper blamed his awful throw on an injury he suffered under rather dubious circumstances. “I have a skeletal muscle injury on my left shoulder from excessive masturbation so take it easy lol,” Jackson wrote.

Jackson’s awful first pitch went viral mere minutes after it occurred, spawning countless blog entries and GIFs in the process. Still, the rapper didn’t seem too upset about his embarrassing moment, laughing as he walked off the field.

Later, he took to Instagram to offer a playful response to critics of his toss. “Don’t talk about my pitch,” he said in the video, which included the caption “I’m a hustler not a Damn ball player. LMAO #smsaudio #animal ambition.”

Jackson even offered some self-mockery. “The s--- almost hit the camera man damn, if you look close you can see them moving the plate. Lol,” he wrote.”

The first pitch was so awful that many suggested it was merely a publicity stunt to garner attention for the release of “Animal Ambition.” However, admitting an injury by excessive masturbation is hardly an attempt at self-promotion, so 50 Cent might want to get that skeletal muscle checked out.
