Another year has (almost) come and gone and as usual, it's been full of wild and crazy moments involving "Real Housewives" cast members. On and off camera members of the franchise were arrested, released from prison, caught up in cancer-faking scandals and much, much more. As we brace for a year full of even more gasp-worthy moments, let's take a look back on the most memorable thus far.

Here are 9 of the most dramatic "Real Housewives" happenings of 2015:

1. Bethenny Frankel's beef with Heather Thomson on "The Real Housewives of New York City."

During Season 7 of the show Bethenny returned after a lengthy hiatus. Much of the season was spent focusing on the Skinny Girl Cocktails CEO's ugly divorce, which trickled into her personal life. During what should have been a fun trip to the Berkshires, Bethenny exploded on fellow "RHONY" star Heather. While discussing the incident with LuAnn de Lesseps later on she gifted viewers with this gem of a one-liner: "Get off my jock."

2. Countess LuAnn de Lesseps' incredibly "uncool" moment in St. Barths.

Toward the end of the season LuAnn and the rest of the "RHONY" crew jetted down to St. Barts for some fun in the sun. The trip had it's tense moments, but none were more over-the-top than the blowout over strangers sleeping in the cast's vacation home.

After Heather and co-star Carole Radziwill learned that LuAnn and Ramona Singer had brought two men back to the house the night before and let them stay until the next morning, the pair were furious. The pair got into an over-the-top screaming match which involved excessive use of the word "uncool." The song inspired yet another Countess LuAnn hit song, "Girl Code," which she performed on "Watch What Happens Live."

3. Kristen Taekman's husband's rumored involvement in the Ashley Madison hack.

In August, popular cheating site Ashley Madison was hacked, leaking the names and information of hundreds of thousands of users, some of which were public figures. Among those exposed was Josh Taekman, husband of "RHONY" star Kristen Taekman.

Although the camera's were not rolling at the time, the internet and "RHONY" super-fans could not stop buzzing about the cheating drama. Josh admitted to having signed up for the site, but claimed he and a group of friends did it as a joke. Several of Kristen's co-stars spoke out in defense of Josh, assuring fans he wouldn't do such a thing.

4. Brooks Ayers' cancer faking scandal on "The Real Housewives of Orange County."

Season 10 of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" kicked off with some serious buzz about Vicki Gunvalson's boyfriend, Brooks. The controversial character on the show claimed he had stage 4 non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Many of the "RHOC" cast members had doubts about his illness, especially as the show went on and they learned more about how he was treating his alleged disease.

The scandal rocked the entire cast, with many of the women believing that Vicki, 53, knew about it. After the cameras stopped rolling the drama continued with more and more information coming out. In November Brooks admitted that he had falsified documents he presented to Tamra Judge during the show.

5. Shannon Beador's shocking confession about her marriage.

In the premiere of "RHOC" Season 10, Shannon admitted that her husband David Beador had been unfaithful. She spent a majority of the season trying to mend their relationship, attending therapy sessions and more.

6. Kim Richards, of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," public intoxication arrest.

Prior to the premiere of Season 6 of "RHOBH," star Kim Richards was arrested and charged with public intoxication among other things. In April 2015, she was forcibly removed from the Beverly Hills Hotel after reportedly causing a scene inside the Polo Lounge. Kim, 52, is said to have hid in a bathroom, forcing police to physically remove her from the property. She was taken into police custody where she is said to have kicked one of the arresting officers, earning her a battery on a police officer charge.

Months later, in August 2015, she was arrested yet again after stealing more than $600 worth of merchandise from a Target store in San Fernando Valley, California. The former child star is said to have walked into the store, grabbed two carts and several reusable shopping bags and filled them with several items from the dollar section. She then walked out of the store, getting about three feet before a security guard apprehended her. Kim was taken into a back room where she claimed she couldn't remember whether or not she had paid.

7. Lisa Rinna accuses Yolanda Foster of feigning Lyme disease.

Season 6 of "RHOBH" kicked off on Dec. 1. Thus far a majority of the season has focused on Yolanda Foster's Lyme disease and whether or not it is real. During episode 4 Lisa Rinna, known for shaking things up on the show, suggested that Yolanda, 51, may be struggling with Munchausen syndrome instead.

8. Cynthia Bailey kicking Porsha Williams in the stomach.

When Season 8 of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" kicked off, it was clear much of the season would focus on the rocky relationship between Cynthia Bailey and her husband Peter Thomas. In an effort to keep her mind of her marriage troubles, close friend Kenya Moore arranged a boat trip on a lake. She called the party a bachelorette party and gathered the entire cast.

During the trip, tensions rose between Kenya and an uninvited guest, which then turned into an issue between Porsha and Cynthia. Porsha called the former model a "b---h," but claimed it was in good fun. Cynthia disagreed, claiming Porsha was being disrespectful. The pair came together once more to discuss the incident which lead to a screaming match. In the midst of their exchange of words, Cynthia kicked Porsha, launching her to the other side of the boat.

9. Teresa Giudice's release from prison.

On Dec. 23, Teresa, 43, was released from prison after 11 months behind bars for fraud. The sentence began in January 2015 after she and husband Joe Giudice were found guilty of multiple counts of fraud. She has officially returned home to New Jersey where she will serve out the remainder of her sentence, which ends in February 2016, on house arrest.
