Aaron Rodgers appeared rejuvenated throughout the 2020 football season and he credited it to his "increased love of life." He has also revealed that the past months have been enjoyable for him even if he is single after parting ways with Danica Patrick in July.

Rodgers appeared on Tuesday's episode of "The Pat McAfee Show" on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio channel. During his guesting, the Green Bay Packers player talked about the improvement in his life after a caller asked him what allowed him to appear "rejuvenated" throughout the football season.

"I have just a new and increased love of life and I have made decisions and changes and habits that put me in a lot better headspace," he was quoted as saying by Us Weekly.

"There’s just a lot of things that have come together in my life over the last few months that have really been enjoyable and reminded me, given me perspective in life and in football to view things through the most positive lens I possibly can. That’s why I’m having so much fun, and it starts with love. And then surround yourself with people that you really enjoy."

The athlete added that his weekly appearances on "The Pat McAfee Show" also contributed to his growth, so he has been looking forward to it.

"It’s mindfulness and positivity and love and kindness and integrity. Just putting it all together, I think for me, has made me a lot happier and I’m just enjoying football and enjoying life a lot more,” he added.

A few months ago, Rodgers broke up with Patrick. The pair were together for two years. They even purchased a three-story home in Malibu in 2019.

When E! News asked if their relationship was heading to marriage, the retired racing driver said there’s no guarantee in life. However, at the time, she was hoping that there relationship was heading there.

Following their split, Patrick started to focus her energy on wellness. She has been practicing emotional therapy and in one post on social media, she shared the message she had for herself while doing it.

"Today I put my left hand on my stomach.... and the back of my right hand on my back, surrounding the solar plexus chakra, and all I heard was - I got you, I always have. That is the main chakra that lights up on me in life," she wrote on Instagram.

"We all 'got' ourselves WAY more than we give ourselves credit for, that was the message for me today anyway. I mean..... we got this far didn’t we friends?!!!!"
