The stars of “Dance Moms” put aside their usual drama Tuesday night to dance on behalf of Abby Lee Dance Company matriarch Abby Lee Miller’s mother, Maryen Lorrain Miller, and her battle with cancer.

In the special “Dance Moms Cares" episode, the stars of the hit Lifetime reality series competed at the Dancers Care Foundation Benefit Competition (Starbound) on Aug. 10 in Atlantic City, N.J. Miller’s group of elite competition dancers reportedly participated in the dance charity show, which works to raise awareness for breast cancer, in an effort to honor Miller’s 86-year-old mother, who is currently battling stage 4 colon cancer, according to the infamous dance coach.

While “Dance Moms” fans enjoyed the extra hour of entertainment, others have since taken to social media to share their concern over Miller’s mother’s current medical condition. At fans’ prompting, Miller, 47, shared a personal photo of herself smiling and posing with her ailing mom in an effort to inform viewers that her beloved mother is still alive and well.

“My mom, Mrs. Miller, is still fighting the fight!” Miller posted on Instagram Wednesday, adding a plea to fans to keep her ailing parent in their thoughts. “Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you for watching and caring,” Abby later added.

Following Miller’s response (the photo has since received over 21,000 likes and counting), fans of the hit reality series have shared their well wishes for the infamous dance teacher's family. “Your mother is SO amazing! But you have many fans to get you through this with prayers and support!” posted one of Miller’s followers Wednesday. “She is a beautiful woman and will be in my thoughts. Stay strong, Mrs. Miller," said another fan. “HOPE YOUR MOM GETS BETTER, ABBY,” one follower shared Wednesday.

Miller last made headlines Monday after documents surrounding her bankruptcy in 2010 surfaced online. According to a report TMZ, the ALDC owner had been more than $400,000 in debt but successfully paid off her monetary dues on New Year’s Eve. Earlier this month, Miller and her “Dance Moms” co-star Kelly Hyland, 42, gained national attention for their alleged “catfight” in New York this past November. According to multiple outlets, Hyland was arrested, but not formally charged, with assaulting and harassing Miller.

“Dance Moms” airs Tuesdays on Lifetime at 9 p.m. ET.
