One of the most storied rivalries in college football continues Saturday as the Florida State Seminoles face in-state rival Miami Hurricanes at Sun Life Stadium.

Miami’s Ryan Williams will start at quarterback over injured junior Stephen Morris, who is doubtful with a sprained left ankle he suffered in the Hurricane’s 18-14 loss to North Carolina last week.

Before he was injured midway through the fourth quarter, Morris went 12-for-26 for 155 yards and two picks, but also contributed a rushing touchdown. Williams took over and got the Hurricanes to the Tar Heels 29 yard line, but a sack forced them back with :38 seconds left and Miami never recovered.

Running back Mike James had 96 rushing yards and a score on 22 carries, but his North Carolina counterpart, Giovani Bernard, had 177 yards and two scores.

Morris was completing 57 percent of his passes, and had 1,991 passing yards and nine touchdowns this season. Appearing in only his second game since transferring from Memphis last year, Williams has gone 11-for-15 for 87 yards and one touchdown.

Unlike Miami, the Seminoles do not have to worry about who will play under center Saturday.

EJ Manuel leads the country’s sixth best offense, averaging 46 points per game, and Florida State is fresh off a 51-7 smashing of Boston College.

Manuel threw for a career-high 439 yards and four touchdowns, and left in the fourth quarter with the Seminoles up 48-7.

Florida State tallied 649 yards on offense, with receiver Kenny Shaw making two catches for 125 yards and Rodney Smith grabbing nine balls for 108 yards.

The 4-3 Hurricanes are giving up more than 32 points per contest this season, while Florida State is fourth best in the nation, allowing just 11.6 points per game.

The game begins at 8 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast by ABC, or you can watch a live stream online at ESPN3 here.
