Taya Kyle, widow of “American Sniper” Chris Kyle,” was on hand at the 2015 ACM Awards. Kyle joined “Entertainment Tonight” host Nancy O’Dell at the AT&T Stadium in Texas to welcome Garth Brooks to the stage.

Before the 53-year-old country crooner came out, Taya Kyle thanks the first responders, veterans, as well as their families “for all of their sacrifices.” She continued that Brooks was a patriot and had the ability to touch people through his music.
