Adele kicked off her "25" world tour Monday in Belfast, Ireland wearing a custom black silk gown by British luxury fashion house Burberry. The 27-year-old singer turned to Burberry for her wardrobe for her world tour. The partnership between the singer and the fashion house was revealed on-stage when she opened her first show.

Adele looked stunning in the black silk gown with floral hand-embroidered sequins during the opening show of her tour. “She is an incredible artist who I admire enormously for her approach to life, her sense of fun, her innate style and her massively powerful and moving voice and performance,” said Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s chief creative and chief executive officer. The custom dress for Adele’s opening show of “25” was designed by Bailey.

The fashion house released a sketch of the dress which featured long sleeves, high neck and a flared skirt. It also had sequins strewn all over with hand-embroidery. Adele will exclusively wear the London-based fashion brand during more than 100 shows around the world on the tour that goes on till November 2016.

However, Burberry has not disclosed the number of dresses it designed for the “Hello” singer. Though she has earlier been outfitted in Valentino and Giambattista Valli for her official engagements, she turned to Burberry for her wardrobe this time around. At the Brit Awards in London last week, Adele scooped four awards in a burgundy Giambattista Valli dress.

Later that evening, she joined Rihanna, Drake, Justin Bieber, James Bay, Annie Lennox and Gary Oldman in a tribute to David Bowie, who died on Jan. 10. She wore a Valentino gown to perform “When We Were Young.”

Adele released her latest album in November and the “25” tour is her first in four years. She will perform in Europe and North America, with the final show scheduled for Nov. 15 in Mexico City.
