Adrienne Bailon’s engagement ring is as sparkly as the Eiffel Tower lit at night.

Earlier today, the 32-year-old “The Real” co-host shared a video of her new piece of diamond jewelry on Instagram — and it’s glittering just as brightly as the famed French tower at nightfall. Bailon uploaded the clip a day after her boyfriend Israel Houghton popped the question in France.

"[Bailon and Houghton] couldn't be more in love,” a source told E! News. “[They] have known each other for a very long time. It just felt meant to be for Adrienne. He treats her so well."

"They worked on a project together a very long time ago and never lost touch,” the insider added.

According to Us Weekly, Bailon and Houghton immediately faced a slew of criticism after they went public with their relationship last April, because the 45-year-old Christian music artist filed for divorce from his estranged wife of 20 years just one month prior.

“I met Adrienne Bailon a bit over 2 years ago, we worked together & became friends,” he explained at the time. “Our circles connected & we remained good friends. From a friendship, as two single adults we have very recently begun to explore a dating relationship. As I previously wrote in a statement I released a while back, my marriage had been over for quite some time before going public with my divorce announcement.”

In an Instagram post announcing his engagement to Bailon, Houghton has once again defended her soon-to-be wife from haters.

"I've seen her attacked. Lied about, Wrongfully accused, Mocked. Laughed at, and misunderstood,” he began his lengthy post. “But I've also seen the shining example of the eagle she is that rises above the cacophony of the noise of ignorants- I'm learning from her example. She loves Jesus. She loves her family. She loves people. Even the ones that don't love her back."

He continued, "I pray God give me that same grace in my life. I've taken a giant leap of faith in asking her to share life with me forever and to give me a shot at getting it right this time... She has graciously granted my request... She said yes. Thanks Be To God. Thank you @adriennebailon for graciously loving me."

This will be the second marriage for Houghton. He was previously married to Meleasa Houghton for more than two decades.

Meanwhile, Bailon was previously engaged to Lenny Santiago. It was announced September last year that the two split and called off their engagement.
