After Kate Middleton adorned the cover of Vogue U.K.’s June edition, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has hit the cover of the publication’s Australian arm for the August issue. Mary will be seen with husband Crown Prince Frederik on Vogue Australia.

Mary’s Vogue cover —12 years since her first cover appearance — was shot by Mario Testino, who photographed Middleton’s Vogue cover. The Danish royal family’s official page on Facebook posted a photo from the shoot which shows the couple having fun time with their four children, Prince Christian, 10, Princess Isabella, nine, and twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, five.

The princess told Vogue Australia about being a role model and the challenges that come along with it.

“I find it difficult to speak of myself as a role model, as role models are defined by the individual. It is what they see in a person that gives meaning or inspiration to them that makes another person a role model for them. It’s not something I consciously think about,” Mary said.

“But at the same time, I am very aware of my role and my responsibility. If I can inspire others and if others see something in me that can inspire them.”

Vogue Australia’s August issue will go on sale July 11.
