People.com is reporting that Arnold Schwarzenegger's wife, Maria Shriver, has hired a divorce lawyer.

The lawyer, Laura Wasser, is a prominent Los Angeles family law attorney. According to sources close to Shriver, Wasser is now representing California's former first lady.

Maria hasn't decided yet if she wants to end her marriage, said one of the sources to People.com. According to the report, Wasser was hired before news of the affair was made public.

Last week it was announced that Schwarzenegger and Shriver were splitting, and this week it was revealed that the former Governor of California had an affair and a child out of wedlock with a woman from his household staff named Mildred Patricia Baena.

According to reports, the child is estimated to be approximately 14 years old.

Baena worked as a housekeeper for more than 20 years. She retired from the job in January, around the same time Schwarzenegger's term as governor was over. This was also the time Schwarzenegger told Shriver about the out of wedlock child.
