‘Agents Of SHIELD’ Season 3 Spoilers: Fitz Attacks Ward In Midseason Finale Clip; Watch 3 Sneak-Peek Videos

The “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3 winter finale is going to be a big one. The latest sneak peeks from episode 10 make it clear that the stakes are higher than ever. Everyone seems to be in danger. Fitz (Iain De Caesteck) and Ward (Brett Dalton) are still on another planet, but they might kill each other before any sort of alien finds them. Other clips indicate that the team on Earth isn’t doing much better.

Sneak Peek No. 1

Fitz is trying to calculate where the next portal will be located, and he makes it clear that they might not find it. He says that Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) designed her method based on hypothetical numbers, but when Ward cuts off his explanation, Fitz tries to grab his gun.

Unfortunately, Fitz can’t overpower Ward, who pushes the scientist down the hillside. “Let me make it clear,” Ward says while his agents point guns at Fitz. “If I don’t make it back, Simmons will be killed. Slowly. Horribly. It would all be your fault.”

Fitz isn’t really sure Ward’s life is that valuable. “The only reason Malick sent you is because you’re expendable,” Fitz says.

Their confrontation is interrupted by an agent who shows Fitz and Ward something that seems to surprise them, but it isn’t shown on screen. Did they find Coulson (Clark Gregg) who jumped into the portal after them?

Sneak Peek No. 2

Simmons is being held captive by Malick (Powers Boothe). She tells the men that their calculations are off, and Malick thanks her. “I’m not doing it for you,” Simmons says. “Don’t want your mucking up Fitz’s return.”

Malick points out the Hebrew word for death that’s carved into the walls. “Death is the only thing returning through that portal,” he claims. “Fitz is just an offering to show him the door.”

Sneak Peek No. 3

It seems like Coulson, Fitz and Simmons could use a rescue from the S.H.I.E.L.D. team right now. Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done. Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) comes up with a way to save their friends. However, Daisy (Chloe Bennet) has some information that seemingly ruins the plan. Hydra has trucks of Inhumans in stasis gel that were just delivered.

“Andrew, he’s probably down there as well,” May (Ming-Na Wen) says.

“Okay, so are we rescuing Inhumans or saving Coulson? Or attacking Hydra? Or is there some kind of combo?” Joey (Juan Pablo Raba), the new Inhuman agent, asks. Unfortunately, no one has an answer for him.
