Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) and her freak show will hit a rough patch when a citywide curfew threatens to shut them down in episode 2 of "American Horror Story: Freak Show." FX

Did you enter the “American Horror Story: Freak Show” on Wednesday? Season 4 of the hit FX miniseries premiered on Oct.8, bringing viewers to 1952 Jupiter, Florida, to tell a brand new terrifying tale. In episode 1, fans were introduced to freak show leader Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange), conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler (Sarah Paulson), “Lobster Boy” Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters), Twisty the Clown (John Carroll Lynch) and many more. Their story of survival -- and murder -- will continue in episode 2 when “Massacres and Matinees” airs on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

According to the synopsis for episode 2, a citywide curfew “threatens to shut down the freak show” as the bodies in town continue to pile up. This wouldn’t be a problem for the freak show, but the dawning of the television era has left them struggling for business, and they just started getting some hype thanks to their new act, conjoined twins Bette and Dot.

“American Horror Story” viewers can look forward to seeing franchise newcomer Michael Chiklis grace the screen as Dell Toledo, a strong man and Ethel Darling’s (Kathy Bates) ex-husband. Toledo will arrive at camp with his new wife, Desiree Dupree (Angela Bassett), and stir up drama from Ethel’s “troubled past.”

Meanwhile, the Tattler twins will “reveal a talent that could knock Elsa from the spotlight.” And Gloria Mott (Frances Conroy) will arrange a “terrifying play date” for her son, Dandy (Finn Wittrock), after their attempt to buy Bette and Dot in the Season 4 premiere fails.

“American Horror Story” Season 4 episode 2 will air on FX on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 10 p.m. EDT. Check out photos and the promo video below:
