Grace Vanderwaal just dropped the official music video for her newest single, “Moonlight,” and she actually stars in it!

Last year, the “America’s Got Talent” Season 11 winner released an EP titled “Perfectly Imperfect,” which featured five of her original songs. A few weeks after their release, Vanderwaal also dropped lyric videos for each one of them, but none of these clips showed the talented singer. Now that Vanderwaal is working on her first full-length album, she has also upped her game by starring in her official music videos.

The carrier single of the untitled new album is “Moonlight.” The audio was first unveiled by Vanderwaal via her Instagram account on June 21. Almost a month later, the official music video for “Moonlight” has been made available on her Vevo channel on YouTube. In the three-minute clip, Vanderwaal shows off her talent in acting as she sings and plays her ukelele. As of late, the music video for “Moonlight” has been viewed over 400,000 times.

In January, one of Vanderwaal’s fans asked via Twitter when she will be releasing a full-length album. She replied to the fan saying that she has already started writing her songs. She also said that September is her goal for the release of her first full-length album. However, it is still unclear if it will be ready by then.

Vanderwaal first made headlines after appearing in “America’s Got Talent” last year. During her audition, the then-12-year-old singer sang an original song, titled “I Don’t Know My Name.” All four judges, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel, praised Vanderwaal’s originality. But it was Mandel who gave her his golden buzzer.

Throughout her entire stint in the hit NBC reality TV competition, Vanderwaal sang only her original songs. She performed “Light the Sky,” “Beautiful Thing” and “Clay” at the quarter finals, semifinals and the finale, respectively. As the winner of “AGT” Season 11, Vanderwaal headlined four shows in Las Vegas and brought home the $1 million grand prize.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
