On her Instagram account, the 13-year-old professional singer revealed that she’s going to perform at the Simon Malls on Thursday, July 6. The free show will start at 5 p.m., and Vanderwaal is inviting all of her fans to come see her performance. Other details about the show are still being kept under wraps, but it seems that she will be singing her latest single, “Moonlight.”

Last month, Vanderwaal announced the release of “Moonlight” to her 1.6 million followers on Instagram. Two days later, she sang her track live at the VidCon.

In the same month, Vanderwaal traveled to Japan, where she performed as part of Spotify Japan’s program. Hundreds of fans flocked the stage and took photos of the young singer.

Vanderwaal first rose to fame last year after she sang her original song, “I Don’t Know My Name,” during her “AGT” Season 11 audition. Funnyman Mandel gave Vanderwaal his golden buzzer, and the rest was history for the Suffern native.

After her big win, Vanderwaal headlined a few soldout shows in Las Vegas. She also signed with Cowell’s music label, Syco Records. In addition, last year, she released her EP, “Perfectly Imperfect,” on iTunes. The five-track EP rose to the top of the charts within just a few days. Later this year, Vanderwaal will be releasing her first full-length album.

Meanwhile, some young singers who are in running to become Season 12’s winner include Angelica Hale, Celine Tam, Christian Guardino and Evie Clair. All four advanced to the next round of competition. Guardino received a golden buzzer from Mandel.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will return to NBC on July 11 at 8 p.m. EDT.
