‘America’s Got Talent’
Whose minds will Colin Cloud read in “America’s Got Talent” Season 12? NBC

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will soon see mind reader Colin Cloud and dance troupe Diavolo taking the Dolby Theater stage for their first live performances.

Prior to this week’s episode of the hit NBC series, Cloud described his act by using only three words in a teaser for the upcoming live show. In the clip, the professional mind reader also urged his supporters to guess what his performance will be based on the words: “revenge, risky and deadly.”

Diavolo, a dance troupe that uses gigantic props, described their act as “epic, gravity-defying and visceral.” Their leader also asked fans to watch out for their performance in the live show on Tuesday night.

Cloud and Diavolo will be joined by 10 other contestants in the live show, but only seven of them will make it through to the semifinals. This week, visual artists Oskar and Gaspar will perform a “creative, emotional and surprising” routine. During their judge cuts performance, they sought the help of Heidi Klum and used her body as the backdrop for their showcase.

Golden buzzer recipient Chase Goehring is expected to sing another original song. The singer wowed everyone with his track, “A cappella,” which impressed DJ Khaled so much he gave him his golden buzzer. In his preview clip Goehring described his song as “blue, rush and original.”

Subway singer Mike Yung will also be fighting for a spot in the semifinals especially after he and his family were evicted from their home due to foreclosure. The 56-year-old crooner created a GoFundMe page earlier this month and asked fans for monetary support for him and his family. His goal to raise $10,000 was reached through the help of 291 people within 27 days. Yung described his upcoming performance as “pop, loud and unexpected.”

Dancer Big O Hernandez, meanwhile, described his routine this week as “fierce, fabulous and fire.” Junior and Emily Alibi are also gearing up for their first live show routine and described it as “exciting, bright and powerful.”

Golden buzzer recipient Angelina Green, inspirational singer Kechi Okwuchi and wild card singers Final Draft will also be performing live on Tuesday night.

“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
