Anderson Cooper, CNN's primary anchor, was attacked by pro-Mubarak supporters in Egypt.

Cooper and his crew were trying to make their way to no man's land between pro- and anti-Mubarak protesters. However, before they could go far, his crew was attacked by the pro-Mubarak camp.

“The crowd was throwing punches, kicks, trying to grab us,” he said.

“Suddenly, a young man would come up, look at you, and punch you in the face.

In the footage of the attack, Cooper can be heard saying he was personally hit about 10 times and the soldiers are doing nothing. Later on, he repeatedly told people around him to calm down.
