A new clip from Marvel's “Ant-Man” has been released. It shows character Scott Lang going on his first adventure as Ant-Man. He can be seen wearing the Ant-Man suit and looking at himself in the mirror as he steps into a bathtub. He then pushes a button on his gloves and shrinks to the size of ant. Suddenly, he looks small compared to the bathtub, which seems gigantic.

A voice from offscreen asks, “The world seems different from here, doesn’t it Scott?” A man can be seen draining water from the tub as Ant-Man fights for his life. He then appears to be floating on the surface of the water and falling out from the tub onto the bathroom floor. The clip ends with a voice telling Lang, “Guess it is tougher than you thought.”

"Ant-Man” features Paul Rudd as Lang, who plots a heist against evil-doers. He also will assist his mentor Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) in safeguarding the Ant-Man technology. Peyton Reed has directed and Kevin Feige has produced the film. According to Feige, “Ant-Man” is very different from other Marvel films and will explore a father-daughter theme.

“It was an opportunity to tell a more intimate story. We've never had a hero whose origin involved him having a daughter as a motivating factor for his redemption. So the notion of shrinking down, to have an arena that is not another city or an entire planet or a fictional place like Asgard, but is a bathtub, or is a rug, or is a little girl's play set -- that felt like a great opportunity to deliver Marvel's thrills and action in a totally different way,” he told the Hollywood Reporter.

The film also stars Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip "T.I." Harris, Wood Harris, Judy Greer and David Dastmalchian. Stoll will play the main antagonist, Yellowjacket. Rudd, Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish and Adam McKay have written the screenplay from a story by Wright and Cornish. Christophe Beck has supplied the music. The film opens July 17 in 3D and Imax.
