Online books retailer Amazon has already started taking pre-orders of Steve Jobs' authorized biography, iSteve, which has a tentative release date of March 6, 2012.

Former Chairman and CEO of CNN, Walter Isaacson has been the brain behind this biography. Since 2009, Walter has been working on this with the full cooperation of Steve Jobs. The book will be published by Simon & Schuster under the title iSteve: The Book of Jobs.

Isaacson has spent almost three years of exclusive and unprecedented interviews with Jobs Jobs as well as extensive interviews with Jobs' family members, key colleagues from Apple and its competitors.

iSteve is said to be the definitive portrait of the greatest innovator of his generation.

In iSteve: The Book of Jobs, Isaacson provides an extraordinary account of Jobs' professional and personal life, Amazon mentions in its product description section.
