Apple is expected to unleash a new large-sized tablet, dubbed the iPad Pro, sporting a 12.9-inch display at the Bill Graham auditorium in San Francisco on Wednesday. Fresh speculations suggest that the new tablet from Apple will be a Surface Pro 4 killer as it is expected to arrive with support for keyboard, stylus, kickstand and LTE connectivity.

The Apple iPad Pro will be the largest ever tablet featuring a 12.9-inch display. The landscape display will come with support for split-screen mode that will let users to run two portrait iPad apps simultaneously on the same screen by dividing the screen in two parts, 9to5Mac reported.

The device will be powered by A9X chipset and the base model of the iPad Pro will be of 64 GB. The device is also expected to be available with 128 GB storage option. The base model of the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is of 64 GB and its successor, the Surface Pro 4, is also expected to feature 64 GB storage variant as its base model.

The iPad Pro is rumored to come preinstalled with the iOS 9.1 operating system. It will be available in three colors, namely space gray, gold and silver. Apple is expected to release an LTE connectivity supporting variant of the iPad Pro. The highest configuration model of the iPad Pro with LTE support is likely to carry a price similar to the latest MacBooks.

Users will be able to use the iPad Pro like a notebook by connecting a Bluetooth keyboard from Apple. It will be featuring four stereo speakers and a Lightning port at its bottom. The Apple iPad Pro is also expected to feature a Force Touch enabled stylus. A new tweet from the popular leakster, @OnLeaks, showcases a dummy unit of the iPad Pro in a protective case. It clearly shows the device featuring a kickstand.
