Apple is highly expected to unveil the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus on Sept. 9. Recent reports also said that a 4-inch iPhone 6C is also set get unveiled alongside the new iPhones. However, fresh rumors suggest that instead of the 4-inch iPhone 6C, Apple may launch a new iPhone 6 with a 5-inch display.

According to G for Games that cites a Chinese source, a Foxconn insider has revealed a drawing of a 5-inch iPhone. Since Foxconn prohibits its employees from carrying handsets or cameras inside its labs, the tipster could only reveal the information of the purported device through a diagram.

The tipster has revealed that the 5-inch screen of the new iPhone will be supporting full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It will be able to produce a pixel density of 441 ppi. It will be fitted with an 8-megapixel rear camera that will be enabled with a dual LED flash. The leakster also added that customers who wish to buy an iPhone with better camera will have to shell out more money to purchase the iPhone 6S Plus that will be featuring a 12-megapixel camera.

Phone Arena reported that six months prior to the release of iPhone 6 in September 2014, a Foxconn insider had leaked unofficial photos of the handset. Hence, there is a possibility that the rumor may turn out to be true. The publication speculates that the 5-inch handset may arrive with a 4.7 inches HD resolution display, the iPhone 6S may come with a 5-inch display with support for full HD resolution and the iPhone 6S Plus will may arrive with 5.5-inch full HD display.

According to ongoing rumors, the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus will arrive with iOS 9, Apple A9 SoC with a 1.5 GHz tri-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and Force Touch technology-enabled displays.
