Apple lawyers had asked Microsoft to stop doing its Laptop Hunter ad campaign saying they had already lowered its computer price.

In a Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans, the Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft, Kevin Turner, claimed that he received a call from Apple lawyers asking Microsoft to stop its Laptop Hunter ad campaign.

Two weeks ago we got a call from the Apple legal department, said Turner.

Apple lawyers had argued about the ad campaigns are no longer accurate.

You need to stop running those ads, we lowered our prices, Turner said quoting the caller from Apple lawyers.

They took like one hundred dollar off or something, Turner added It was the single greatest phone call in history that I've ever taken in business.

Turner admitted that the ads are working well in and that Microsoft is just going to keep those ads running.

The Laptop Hunter ad campaigns illustrate the difference between PCs and Macs, making it appearing that Apples computers are overpriced.
