Apple’s 12-inch MacBook Retina, released in 2015, can now be purchased with a whopping 24 percent discount for a limited period of time.

EBay has listed the 12-inch Retina MacBook for just $979, whereas Apple Store is selling the same device for $1,299. Buyers can save $320.99 with this deal. Key configurations of this MacBook model include 256GB of built-in memory and 8GB of RAM configuration.

Speaking of color choices, the discounted variant is now available only in gold hue. Also, buyers can avail free shipping service within the U.S. upon ordering this model.

So far, 475 units of this discounted 12-inch MacBook Retina 2015 have been sold via the prominent seller Dig Jungle, which enjoys a whopping 99.5 percent positive rating on eBay. The seller says this notebook is a built to order (BTO) model by Apple that comes with the standard white box retail packaging with 1-year in-store warranty.

As far as the specifications go, the 12-inch LED-backlit IPS Retina display clad MacBook 2015 is complemented by 2,304 x 1,440 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a dual-core (Intel Core M) processor, running at 1.1 GHz.

On the software front, Mac OS X 10.10/10.11 Yosemite runs this 12-inch MacBook model out of the box. This device supports 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a slew of ports like USB C, HDMI and display port interfaces.

The housed battery unit will apparently be able to offer up to 9 hours of battery life after a full recharge. Plus, there is a web cam mounted on the device.

The MacBook Retina comes equipped with a standard notebook keyboard, along with an all-new Force Touch trackpad. This trackpad guarantees “precise cursor control” and it understands pressure-sensitive “force clicks, accelerators, drawing and Multi-Touch gestures.”
