Apple revealed more information on Friday about its iCloud service. Among the details released is that iCloud will be accessible by the Web and not limited to the iPhone or iPad.

Some 2 million current MobileMe users can also keep their me.com or mac.com email address when making the switch to iCloud, as well as their contacts, calendars and bookmarks. Find my iPhone and Back to my Mac services will also be included in iCloud.

On the other hand, existing MobileMe services such as Gallery and iDisk will NOT be integrated into iCloud.

What this means is that MobileMe users can continue to use the Gallery and iDisk through the end of June next year, but after that date, the service will not be available.

MobileMe users who have photos saved in the Gallery and files in iDisk are advised to download and save the files.

In addition, websites published via iWeb should also be moved to another web hosting service, as it will also not be available after June 30, 2012.

iCloud will make available web access to iCloud Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Find My iPhone this fall.
