Apple has not yet confirmed that the company is launching the Apple Watch Series 5 this year, but it’s not a cause for alarm.

Apple analysts are confident that the Cupertino giant will be releasing a new version of the world’s bestselling smartwatch come September, just in time for the new watchOS 6, which is expected to offer a broad range of apps and activities for the new smartwatch. Its predecessor, the Series 4, is considered to be one of the most powerful and useful health tools available in the market today so the Series 5 is expected to continue what it started.

The Apple Watch Series 5 features will be considered a very able health and fitness tool with a range of capabilities users are sure to find valuable. There’s the Cycles App to help women keep track of their menstrual cycle and can help those with fertility problems as well. The Noise App can determine if an area is too noisy especially for people with sensitive hearing. Of course, the ECG function is still there, which is an excellent function for people with a heart condition.

Some also expect the Apple Watch 5 to offer other health benefits such as measuring glucose level and one’s blood pressure. The sleep tracking function, which is now available in competing smartwatches, is one of the features that Apple Watch users are also looking forward to. However, according to a report from Macworld, this might be something that won’t be available until next year.

The Apple Watch 5 will also be a fairly independent gadget as it can be used and updated even without an iPhone. Via the watchOS 6, the Apple Watch Series 5 will have its own app store and Apple apps can now be downloaded or erased to help users customize a watch that best fits their needs.

For the price, there have been a few price changes in between models so people can expect the Apple Watch Series 5 to be close to the Series 4 price tag at $399 for the base model and $429 for the premium variants. Considering that there won’t be much changes in hardware (except if Apple decides to revive the ceramic casing) then the Cupertino giant will most likely follow this pricing range again.
