Apple is set to make the world a cloudier place at the 2011 WWDC.

The company will introduce the iCloud which will provide a place for consumers to store streaming media, from any source and not just iTunes, that could subsequently be synced to any compatible device. Various reports say Apple has lined up a deal with major record labels in order to get their music synced to the iCloud.

Apple chief executive Steve Jobs is set to take center stage at the event's keynote address. and introduce the new product, along with some updates to the iOS and Mac operating system. All week long developers from across the world have converged in San Francisco for the event, which is one of the tech industry's biggest.
