People have been spreading divorce rumors about Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith in recent years, but, during an interview with Essence, she said their marriage is fine, RadarOnline.com reported.

"It seems like that happens at least once a year, or at least once every two years -- it's rumored that we're getting a divorce. But no, we're not getting a divorce. Where am I going to go? ... That's my boo. It's like he's another part of me," she gushed to Essence.

"I was just doing the 'Today' show, and there was a couple there who was celebrating 59 years of marriage," she told People this year. "I thought to myself, '15 years ain't nothing, you know?' It's just the beginning. That's the way I look at it."

The Smiths have had two children together: Jaden, 14, and Willow, 11.

Pinkett Smith also told Essence she was moved by the viral "Kony 2012" video that spotlighted the war criminal Joseph Kony and his exploitation of children in Uganda and that she contacted Angelina Jolie for some more information.

"I called Angelina Jolie and said, 'Ange, I need you, girl. Did you know we have slaves in this country?'" she told the magazine. "She said, 'Jada, I've been working on this for years -- are you kidding me?' So I sat on the phone with Angelina and of course it was like going to college. She schooled me."

Pinkett Smith even visited Congress over the summer to testify before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, RadarOnline reported.

"Here almost 150 years after the abolition of slavery in the United States, conservative estimates suggest that 40,000 people are enslaved on our soil at any moment," Smith told the Senate at the hearing wearing an "I Free Slaves" T-shirt, according to Hollywood Scoop.

The 40-year-old actress last made headlines after she tweeted a picture of her toned beach body. She said, "To my Forty and over crew! Don't believe the hype ... we DO get better with age!"
