Lance Bass and husband Michael Turchin are ready to expand their family.

Bass, who rose to fame as the bass singer for the boy band NSYNC, has revealed that he and Turchin are already planning to have their own child.

“We plan on doing the baby thing ourselves sometime soon,” the 37-year-old singer told Entertainment Tonight at a benefit for the onePULSE Foundation at NeueHouse in Los Angeles on Friday, Aug. 19.

If blessed with a child, Bass would be the third member of NSYNC to become a dad. His bandmates Joey Fatone and Justin Timberlake are already fathers. Fatone shares two daughters, Kloey, 6, and Briahna, 15, with wife Kelly Baldwin, while Timberlake has a 1-year-old son named Silas with wife Jessica Biel.

Bass admitted that hasn't had enough experience around kids, so he and Turchin haven’t been asked to babysit his fellow bandmates’ children. “No babysitting duties,” he said. “I don't think they would trust us just yet.”

If Bass does become a dad, he admitted that there is one fellow NSYNC member he would “probably” trust when it comes to babysitting his child, and it is JC Chasez.

“He's ironically the one that doesn't have the kid,” Bass said of Chasez.

Bass popped the question to Turchin in September 2013. “He said YES!! Love this man,” Bass wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple showing off an engagement ring on Turchin's finger at the time.

The two then tied the knot at the legendary Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles in December 2014. According to People, the two wrote their wedding vows themselves.

“There's no one in the world that makes me laugh more than Lance," Turchin said during their wedding ceremony. "He's just such an incredible person. I couldn't imagine waking up next to anybody else."

"Michael gets my crazy life and he fits perfectly into it," added Bass. "We're best friends."
