It still seems unclear whether or not Kylie Jenner and Tyga are still together, but a source close to the family has now come forward and revealed that their breakup might do her a world of good since she would be able to focus on her career.

“When Kylie is happy, they’re happy — but it’s never that simple,” the insider told People. “There’s always some kind of drama with Kylie and Tyga.”

The source hinted that Tyga is constantly distracting Jenner from her work and other commitments because of their relationship drama, and it’s difficult for Jenner to succeed with Tyga tagging along.

“When he’s around, that’s all that matters in her world,” said the source. “And she’s in such an incredible position right now — poised to have such incredible success. But when things go awry between those two, Kylie loses focus and turns into a different person. She won’t listen to anyone — it’s like nobody can talk sense into her until they work things out.”

If Jenner and Tyga finally learn how to become more mature and make their relationship “functional,” the source believes great things are in store for them. But for now, their on-again, off-again relationship still continues to be a “sore subject.”

For now, Jenner is all set to get her own spin-off series titled “Life of Kylie.” It’s an eight-episode, half-hour docuseries that will premiere this summer on E!, and the spotlight will be on the younger generation of the Kardashian-Jenner clan.

However, reports have it that Jenner’s older sisters are a bit jealous because of all the attention she is getting. “Overall, everyone is really happy about it,” said the source. “But of course, there’s some jealousy that comes along with all the attention that Kylie is getting.”
