Suzanne Mubarak, wife of former President Hosni Mubarak, was hospitalized Friday, hours after she was detained on corruption charges for 15 days.

Suzanne was admitted in the same hospital where Hosni Mubarak was admitted.

She fainted when she was told Friday that she would be detained for 15 days for further questioning, said Dr. Mohammed Fatahallah, director of Red Sea resort community hospital. She suffered a heart attack and was in an unstable condition.

She was accused of taking advantage of her husband’s position. The detention order came a day after she was questioned, the MENA state news agency reported.

Both Mubarak and his wife have agreed to reveal information on their bank accounts, said the report.

Suzanne would remain in the hospital till she recovers and will be moved to a women's prison in Cairo, a security official said.

Mubarak was hospitalized on April 12 and later sent to prison following his recovery.
