the Flash
Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell, left) and Barry Allen (Grant Gustin, right) will meet again in "The Flash" and "Arrow" crossover episodes. The CW.

Fans have been getting excited about “The Flash”-“Arrow” crossover episodes on the CW, but aside from the knowledge that the special event will fall on the eighth episode of both shows’ current seasons, viewers have been left in the dark about exactly what the date or schedule of the episode (or episodes) will be. Well, not anymore. TV Line has reported the date and episode titles of both shows’ crossover fun.

Apparently, the two-hour crossover will take place on two separate nights, not as a combined episode. Although fans knew a two-hour crossover was coming, the actual format of the event was a little unclear, especially since an off-week for “The Flash” means episode 8 of each show might not fall on the same week. Both shows will air their crossover episodes in the same week in their regular time slots. “The Flash” will go first with “Flash vs. Arrow” on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 8 p.m. EST, while “Arrow” will follow Wednesday, Dec. 3, with “The Brave and the Bold” at 8 p.m. EST.

Fans don't know what to expect from the universe-mashup fun, but “Arrow” producer Andrew Kreisberg recently hinted that “Flash vs. Arrow” will reveal a major secret about Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). There has also been some crossover fun already this year as Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) paid a visit to Oliver in “The Flash” pilot, and Felicity Smoak (Emilt Bett Rickards) of “Arrow” spent an episode with Barry and S.T.A.R. Labs in episode 4 of “The Flash.”

Fans are still a month away from the crossover episodes, but luckily both shows will be airing episodes in the meantime to hold everyone over. “The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST and “Arrow” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST, both on the CW.
