The second-seeded Miami Heat won the first game of their playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers 97-89, despite spotting Philadelphia a 14-point lead in the first quarter and almost blowing a 16-point second-half lead.

Miami's Chris Bosh and LeBron James combined for 46 points while Dwyane Wade contributed 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Thaddeus Young scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds off the bench to lead the seventh-seeded Sixers.

The Heat and Sixers will face off in Game 2 Monday night at 7 p.m. in Miami.
