Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri could well move to bitter-rivals Manchester United after the Frenchman claimed that he was unsure of signing a new contract with the Gunners.

This isn't the first time he has cast doubt over his Arsenal future, and considering he is entering the last year of his current deal, and with the discussions ongoing for a new contract, he may well be trying to pressurize Arsenal into a deal more to his favor.

The 23-year-old midfielder joined Arsenal in 2008 from Marseille, and was instrumental for the Gunners during the recently concluded season. He scored 15 goals in 45 appearances and was one of the better players during the campaign.

However, it was yet another trophy-less season for the Gunners and losing one of their better players isn't the ideal preparation for the next season. With Nasri refusing to rule out a move to champions and title-rivals Manchester United and with United defender Patrice Evra urging his fellow-countryman to make the move, Arsenal will have alarm bells ringing.

Nasri, while speaking to French sports program Telefoot, said I don't know if I will sign a new contract, the discussions are ongoing. Do I want to go to United? First, we should see if it's real and concrete.

However, it isn't all doom and gloom for Arsenal in the transfer front. Rumor mills cranked with news that Barcelona's 20-year old highly-rated midfielder Thiago Alcantara could be offered as leverage to entice Arsenal into giving up their captain Cesc Fabregas.

Arsenal, along with Liverpool, are also reportedly interested in another Barcelona player - the potentially devastating striker Bojan Krkic - who has found opportunities hard to come by in the Catalan first team, especially since the arrival of David Villa last summer.
