Casey Anthony, who was acquitted of killing her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, was released from Orange County Jail on Sunday.

The outer side of the jail saw a huge gathering of protesters and media before her release. A significant police presence, including several mounted officers, was in place to tackle any untoward incident.

The parking lot at the jail's Booking and Release Center was closed and barricades were put to keep the protesters away from the compound.

WESH-TV released two videos on YouTube in which Casey can be seen coming out from the jail compound and getting in to her vehicle.

The first video shows Casey in blue jeans and pink top walking out of the building.

In the second video Casey with her attorney Jose Baez can been seen getting into the car.

Protesters could be heard screaming 'killer' as the vehicles pulled out.

Baez earlier said Casey would be whisked from jail to 'someplace safe', but did not elaborate further.
