The average monthly wage of workers in China's cities and towns in the first three quarters this year came out to 1,853 yuan(250$), showing year-on-year growth of 18.8%according to the data from a report issued by People's Bank of China (PBC).

PBC released a report showing the affects of China's monetary policy for the third quarter this Thursday. The report illustrated that labor compensation was growing rapidly in the main-land.

At the same time consumer prices rose with year-on-year growth of 4.1% in the first three quarters and every quarter's average growth rate also increased

Between foods and non-foods, food prices rose faster, which is main reason of the consumer price increase, while non-food prices keep stable relatively. Likewise the prices of consumer goods rose faster than services.
