Barnes & Noble to be exclusive provider for Plastic Logic eReader device

Barnes & Noble is entering into a strategic commerce and content partnership with Plastic Logic to be the exclusive eBookstore provider for the upcoming Plastic Logic eReader device designed for business professionals.

The 8.5x11 inch wireless device is set to debut early in 2010. The announcement on Monday puts Barnes & Noble on the same track as online retailer Amazon.com which has put its name behind the Kindle reader device, which is targeted for a general audience.
